For many area nonprofits, attending professional development workshops can be difficult. Travel time, closing the office, and the cost of the training can all be barriers.

As part of our mission, the Hastings Community Foundation is dedicated to providing a high-quality professional development series designed to meet the specific needs of Hastings area nonprofits. These events are frequently offered in partnership with industry experts, area foundations, and other nonprofit leaders.

In June, we hosted Kiersten Hill from Firespring for an insightful presentation where we learned the art of donor stewardship with effective strategies to retain donors. The HCF was proud to offer this program for no charge to our local nonprofit leaders.
