Our next Give Hastings Day will be on Thursday, May 2nd, 2024. More information is found at www.givehastings.org. Registration for nonprofit organizations will begin in January 2024.

What is Give Hastings Day?

Community support for local charitable causes. This unique one-day fundraiser is organized by the Hastings Community Foundation and will be held on from midnight to 11:59 pm on Give Hastings Day. (Okay, we say it’s only one day… but we accept gifts early.)

The purpose of this community-wide giving challenge is to raise awareness of the current philanthropic needs of our community, build capacity of local nonprofits and inspire donors to support the causes that mean the most to them. Together we have the power to raise thousands of dollars and have a significant impact on the future of Hastings and surrounding area.

NONPROFITS WIN!

Since the first Give Hastings Day in 2014, nearly $5.5 million has been donated, benefiting 100+ nonprofits in our area. Give Hastings Day has provided for all ages and for a variety of community, family and individual needs.

Thank you for your commitment to growing philanthropy in our community! Together, we will continue to make Hastings a great place to live, work and play.  We appreciate your support and encourage you to stay connected to the many deserving organizations in our area. 

Who can participate?

Any nonprofit organization with services based in the Hastings area is welcome to participate.  This includes causes such as health and human services, art and culture, children and families support, education, animals, parks and recreation, non-denominational religious projects and many more.
