“Hard laughs and hard hats!”

The tradition continues! The Hastings Variety Show marks the unofficial start of the holiday season with a fun evening of entertainment, including comedy, skits, talent, and music. The evening of “hard laughs” is not to be missed!

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Hastings Community Foundation.

Time: Social hour at 6:30 pm/Variety Show at 7:30 pm

Location: Hastings City Auditorium

Balcony tickets are $15 each and can be purchased here or at the door on the day of the show.

What you need to know before you go:

  • Table placement is based on when you purchase your table. Purchase your table now to secure the best seats.

  • Looking for a fun office holiday party? The Hastings Variety Show makes for one fun office party! Multiple tables for office gatherings will be placed together.

  • Once you purchase your table(s), tickets will be delivered to you the week of the show.

  • Full bar will be available. Cash and credit cards will be accepted. Please bring proper ID. (Drinks are not included with your table purchase.)

  • Table purchases includes light snacks. We advise doing dinner before the show, and we do allow attendees to bring in their own food.

  • Balcony seats do not include any food - but you still get to enjoy a great show!

  • This will be a great evening out with friends and colleagues who are at least 21 years old. We kindly ask that you to find a sitter for the kids.

  • Not sure of the dress code? Go casual. Jeans are just fine!

  • The show will showcase local talent like musicians, performers, skits, magic, and more. You never know what to expect - and that’s what makes the show so fun!

  • By supporting this event you’re supporting the Hastings Community Foundation. Our mission includes:

    • Awarding nearly $150,000 annually to local nonprofits through the HCF Community Grants program.

    • Hosting Give Hastings Day - raising more than $1 million for area nonprofits each May.

    • Awarding funds to create or significantly enhance projects that better the quality of life in Hastings through our Key Society.

    • Partnering with Hastings Parks and Recreation. The HCF has provided financial support for the Splash Pad, the shelter at Lincoln Park, $100,000 for the very popular inclusive playground at Crosier Park. (We have more Key Society project announcements coming soon!)

    • Working with our donor partners, we distributed nearly $3 million to nonprofits in 2023 through grants, scholarships and other support.

    • Serving as a trusted resource for Hastings and nonprofit community for more than 35 years.
