The Hastings Community Foundation, in partnership with the Nonprofit Association of the Midlands, and the Peter Kiewit Foundation is pleased to offer a special Board Masters training exclusively for Hastings area nonprofits at a significant discount.

Nonprofit boards need strong skills and a thorough understanding of their role to serve effectively. The purpose of the Board Masters workshop is to provide guidance and skills-building opportunities for people who want to be better at nonprofit board service. Board Masters was created for board members (those with years of experience as well as those brand new to board service) and nonprofit leaders. We cover the most important aspects of board governance in this interactive, intensive program. At the end of this training, you will be able to describe how effective boards function, tackle the essential tasks of nonprofit board members, and create a plan of action to address opportunities to improve.

Board Masters is a four-hour interactive workshop, which will be offered online on May 24-27 (Monday-Thursday) from noon-1:30 pm each day.
